Ricky Martin Would Marry in Spain

The Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin obtained the Spanish nationality, the president of Spain Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero along with the Council of Ministries conceded this condition in order that he could marry his boyfriend, Carlos Sanchez.

The performer based the request last March on the family members that live in Spain, like his grandmother.

Martin explained that he could get married in some states of USA that approve the homosexual marriages, instead he wants to perform his ceremony in Spain as a way to support the work of Zapatero’s government that works for the defense of the homosexual rights. (AV)
