Royalty payments of the telephone companies would only fall on Claro

The first debate of the Telecommunications Law, which concluded on Tuesday November 11, focused its discussion on two topics: new royalties of the telephone companies and the creation of a new regulatory agency that would replace the Superintendency of Telecommunications (Supertel).
The articulated proposes a table that seeks to raise between 1 and 9% of total revenues of the operators that have a market participation over 35%. This Section only affects Claro, which has 68.07% of the market share.
