Russian humanitarian convoy has permission to enter Ukraine
The head of Russian diplomacy Sergey Lavrov said on Monday that they have reached an agreement to unblock the situation of the humanitarian aid convoy sent by Moscow to the eastern regions of Ukraine.
It is expected that in the course of the day the first group of trucks on the border be reviewed and can transfer its load and oversight to the International Red Cross.
According to Lavrov,at the meeting there has been “some progress” in talks that the Foreign Ministers of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine held on Sunday night in Berlin.
However, there was no significant progress in the aim to achieve a ceasefire and ensure the impermeability of borders.
The pro-Russian controlled areas, Donestsk and Lugansk, in recent days have been especially hard hit by Ukraine and civilians have also suffered the consequences, such as lack of food and electricity.
