Senator Córdova Disabled 18 years for Collaborating with FARC
The General Attorney of Colombia (Ministerio Público) dismissed on Monday and disqualified for 18 years at the Senator Piedad Córdoba, Liberal Party, for collaborating with the guerrillas of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
According to this Office, Senator Córdova has promoted and collaborated with the illegal group, or FARC.
The investigation was initiated following the documents found on the computers of former FARC’s international spokesman Luis Edgar Devia, “Raúl Reyes”, who was killed in a bombing raid by the Colombian Army in Ecuador on 1 March 2008.
