Daily Expreso toured Guayaquil neighborhood stores, verifying in this way the increasing sales of shampoo sachets.
The sachets of shampoo are very important in the Ecuadorian market. They represent about 30% of domestic consumption and clearly respond to the economic situation in the country. When the shampoo is finished, the fastest way to acquire it is buying a sachet that costs $ 0.25.
Through them, the product is tested and then, families make the effort to buy a bottle. In the country, we produce the sachet of the Sedal brand, with 50% more content for the same price.
The market moves more than 100 million dollars a year. Companies seek to develop the full category. Nine out of ten people buy shampoo in the country.
