The former CIA’s analyst is devoted to building a life in Russia, which gave him political asylum so said his lawyer, Anatoly Kucherena.
The lawyer said the 30 year old man has taken refuge in the home of American expatriates after leaving Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport where he spent close to five weeks in the transit area.
Despite his promise not to publish more leaks, Snowden cannot guarantee that the website WikiLeaks, which has already presented much of his material, would continue to publish data, Kucherena said.
“Edward assured me that he has no intention of publishing any document that stains the U.S. government,” said Kucherena last Friday.
Kucherena said Snowden has no plans to leave Russia and would like to rent an apartment and get a job.
“Snowden is a very high-level expert and I’m getting letters from companies and citizens who would like to give him a job,” confirmed attorney.
