The Ministry of Public Health (MSP for its Spanish acronym), the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS), the Institute of Social Security of the Armed Forces (ISSFA) and the Institute of Social Security of the National Police (ISSPOL) owe to the Society of Fight Against Cancer (Solca) $ 130 million, according to a press announcement by the institution.
The $ 130 million debt includes the payment delay of 0.5% tax to credit operations, which is one of the two sources of its revenues. Consequently, Solca owes more than $ 40 million to medicines and consumables suppliers, it stressed.
