Spain began campaigns for the 2012 presidencial elections

This morning the campains to renew the Spanish parliament began amid a deep economic crisis in this country.

Among the favorites for this campaign is the opposition candidate Mariano Rajoy. Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba is the other candidate for this elections.

José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Spain’s current president, will continue with its electoral period until 2012, but call early elections and announced that he does not intend to go for re-election.

The campaign is expected to conclude on 20 November next.
