Steel and iron pots will do for induction kitchens
Pots made of stainless steel, and iron cast with enameled coated may be used on induction kitchens which the Government will start distributing in August through the Efficient Cooking program .
Is scheduled to begin with the distribution of 373,000 kitchens, and thus start the process of changing gas stoves by electrical induction and phase out subsidies to this resource.
Alberto Tama former manager of Electric of Guayaquil and an expert on the subject of induction, said ferromagnetic materials (in this case, pots) are in the presence of an external magnetic field (kitchens), which attract and concentrated to penetrate the pan and create a circular current base of the pot, which produces cooking.
Meanwhile, Indalum the company that assembles aluminum pots, which are not coupled to induction cookers, will release this August a new line of body parts with aluminum and iron inlaid at the base, allowing you to work with kitchens, said Juan Pablo Marquez, commercial manager of the company.
They will furnish the market between 50 thousand and 100 thousand monthly sets of these new tools. “We will launch them in August to match with the distribution of the kitchens,” he said.
