Sweden: The Best Country to Be Born and Grow
Posted On 21 Jun 2011
According to the NGO “Save the Children” in its presentation of the “Map of child survival,” Sweden is the country with better living conditions for children, unlike Somalia, in Africa, which is considered the worst in the world.
Infant mortality, education, schooling, and healthcare are some aspects considered for the studies conducted by the NGO based on data from the United Nations and 168 countries.
The figures show, for example, that 22,000 children under five die every day around the world because they have no care or feeding; in Somalia,
two of each three children do not attend primary school, while in countries such as in Sweden, France or Switzerland attendance is 100%. (BG)
