Syrian exiles in Turkey
The U.N. refugee agency said that more than 200,000 Syrians have fled the country, after the heavy bombings of today left 21 activists dead.
In the past 24-hours more than 3,500 Syrians crossed the border into Turkey, Turkish officials said it was one of the highest daily totals since the insurrection against the President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad started in March 2011.
The Syrian regime struck the Damascus suburb of Daraya, where the 21 deaths were reported by opposition activists. Troops fired multiple rockets and artillery at Daraya, where rebels are still present. AV
