Tapes Reveal U.S. Soldiers Killed Afghanistan People For Sports
ABC revelaed on Monday a shocking video in which a group of North American soldiers talk about how they murdered unarmed people from Afghanistan, because they were “bored”. They’ve been labeled “Kill Team” by the press, and it’s been reported these soldiers use drugs, took pictures of themselves with the dead bodies of the Afghan people like trophies, and as tokens from their deeds, some of them confessed to have kept phalanges, teeth, skeletons and bones from the dead bodies of their victims.
“He pulled out one of his grenades.American grenade. You know, popped it, throws the grenade. And then tells me and Winfield: ‘All right dude’, you know, ‘wax this guy, kill this guy’.” confessed Jeremy N. Morlock, a 22-year-old soldier who seemed to be against the actions of his fellow soldiers. His chief, sargeant Calvin Gibbs, 25 years old, may have cut the fingers of the victims as a “token” and put a Russian grenade to fake they weren’t the ones who hurt the civilians. Apparently, Gibbs was proud to have simmilar stories on Irak.
The soldiers belonged to the 5th Combat brigade, Second Infantry Division, which had been operating for nearly 2 years near Kandahar, the most dangerous zone in Afghanistan. Five military are being questiones for war crimes, while other seven soldiers are being prosecuted for hiding the facts and blocking the investigation.
