Teacher Network will have a joint agenda with the Ministry of Education
Yesterday, The Teachers Network for Educational Revolution received from the Ministry of Education statutes which grant their legal life.
The coordinator of Cemexpo, Wilmer Santacruz, thanked President Rafael Correa in the Exhibition Centre of the Equator (Cemexpo for its Spanish acronym) and exclaimed: “Count on us whenever you try to work for the common good and that of the Nation.”
Santacruz announced an agenda for joint work between education authorities and the teachers staff.
“The teachers Network was born with the conviction of being a trade and class organization that protects the rights of teachers (…) We applaud the government’s plans for the education sector, strengthening intercultural bilingual education, elimination of registration collection, the assessment of teachers, teacher training and professional development,” he said.
President Rafael Correa highlighted the achievements of his government in the education sector and congratulated the Teachers Network for their willingness to work with the Ministry of Education.
