Term of readjustment in Education careers expires

September is the deadline for that Education careers of Ecuadorian universities deliver their list of degrees that will be redesigned, once the Rules of Degrees Nomenclature were issued weeks ago.

Francisco Cadena, President of the Council of Evaluation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (Ceaaces for its Spanish acronym), said that the objective is to reduce the degrees after a classification performed by the Higher Education Council (CES for its Spanish acronym).

Therefore, he said, all universities, polytechnic schools and technical and technological institutes that have careers of Education will have to adjust the degrees they offer (188), to those adopted (18).
