The aviation organizations of 45 countries meet in Guayaquil

Monday began the regional meeting of the International Civil Aviation Organization Council (OACA) met with 61 delegates from 45 member countries.
 
The event has a varied agenda that takes place between Quito, Guayaquil and the Galapagos Islands. Yesterday, one of the main auditoriums of the Sheraton Hotel, in the Main Port, hosted one of the meetings.
Yesterday’s session began in a formal way. The  Minister of Transport and Public Works, Boris Córdova, welcomed the attendees and spoke about the progress of civil aviation in the country, a sector that received in the last ten years an investment of 329 million dollars to improve safety and aviation technology.
 
Cristina Camacho, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, as well as Olumyiwa Bernard Aliu, president of the ICAO, also intervened.
 
In total, there were 14 presentations, with issues related to the problems and advances in services and civil aviation commitments in the region.
