The first phase of the campaign, All You Need is Ecuador, ends today, the 19 letters, placed in 19 cities, will be put together in a single city of the country.
According to the authorities, the exercise was successful, especially in social networks. The Twitter account added, until yesterday afternoon, 232.000 followers. On YouTube, the promotional video surpassed the 350,000 reproductions. Another element of measurement were photographs, thousands of portraits were sent to Twitter and Facebook, Instagram.
According to Tourism Minister, Vinicio Alvarado, the campaign left the streets and moved to media around the world. The Ministry of tourism has previous agreements with international TV channels such as Sony. There are agreements with specialized spaces in tourism. In the new phase images that were presented at the start of the campaign but are not yet published will be promoted. The art shows a single landscape in which the four regions of the Ecuador mingle. An example is the giant tortoise that has in its body parts of scenarios from the Jungle, the highlands, coast and Insular region.
