The discovery of Mayan Calendar Rejects End of the World This Year
Posted On 11 May 2012
American researchers discovered the oldest Mayan calendar so far in the walls of acabin in the ruins of Xultún-Guatemala.
The hieroglyphs found in Xultún calculated at least 7,000 years more of existence.
As interpreted by the experts, other Mayan calendars have predicted that the world will end this year.
However, Dr. William Saturno of Boston University, told the BBC that while we seek the end, the Maya were after a guarantee that nothing would change. (PLS)
