The Ecuadorian banana will be exported again to Brazil

The Government of Brazil eliminated yesterday, after 17 years, sanitary restrictions that existed for the importation of Ecuadorian banana.

The Minister of foreign trade, Francisco Rivadeneira, thanked his crew, the Ambassador of Ecuador at Brazil, Horacio Sevilla, and the support of the Ambassador of Brazil in Ecuador, Fernando Simas.
The document puts an end to the restriction that was existing since 1997 by the presence of two plagues: moko from banana and black sigatoka.
