The first act of Chancellor Long is to organize a tribute to Chavez

The new Ecuadorian Chancellor, Guillaume Long, participated this Saturday in a tribute to Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan ex-president, in memory of his death 3 years ago. The event was held in “Capilla del Hombre”, at Quito.
The event, organized by the Venezuelan Embassy, was named “Songs, poems and four for the Commandant”. Carol Delgado, the Venezuelan ambassador, Guillarme Long, the Chancellor, and Pablo Guayasamín, son of the famous painter Oswaldo Guayasamín, assisted to the event.
Long organized the tribute to the life of Hugo Chávez. And he rejected the new executive order from the US in which the pointed that the Venezuelan government is a threat towards human rights. “We are sorry to hear the decision of US president Obama, and we show solidarity with our Venezuelan brothers”, he added.
