The Festival de Artes Digitales Puerto Pixel (Festival of Digital Arts Puerto Pixel) was born to publicize the most outstanding works of the Audiovisual and Multimedia students of Universidad Catolica de Guayaquil. Steve Mejía, a producer who presented his first edition yesterday, explains that video clips, short films, among other resources will be shown.
“The purpose is to reward the effort and dedication of the students who have put into practice the knowledge acquired in class,” says Mejia, and adds that it is important that audiovisual works have a good audio quality and are not pixellated.
The Golden Pixel will be awarded tomorrow at 18:30 to the best works of the different categories: best video, best short film, best animation, best documentary, best director, best edition, and better production. (I)
