The government paid the Christmas bonuses two days before the deadline set by law

From Saturday, messages on the payment of the Christmas bonus “to all public sector employees” began to be published in the Twitter accounts of the social ministries. Even the Police published on Tuesday a communiqué indicating that the Christmas bonus was paid on Friday 18, an action intended to silence the multiple rumors that said that this bonus had not been payed.

Also the Institute of Social Security of the Armed Forces (ISSFA) reported the payment of this economic benefit this week. According to Section 60 of the Organic Law for Labor Justice and Recognition of Household work, the Christmas bonus, in the event of not being paid monthly, shall be paid until December 20. In the case of some municipalities, the payment was made just this week and in others, there are still some outstanding values with employees. It is expected that the bonus is paid next week.
