The Latin American Residents of Madrid Were Awarded
The Secretary General, Enrique Iglesias of Uruguay, also the former Argentine soccer player Jorge Valdano and the host the Venezuelan Boris Izaguirre are some of the hundred of Latin’s in Madrid who will receive recognition of “life stories, creativity and entrepreneurship”.
The award is for 37 women and 63 men of twenty different nationalities, who have been called for a meeting on November 10 in the House of America in Madrid because of the Association “FusionArte”. For the third year in a row recognizes the talent of a 100 of Latin Americans.
Many of the awarded are related to the entertainment, like the Argentine musical producer Alejo Stivel; the Brazilean of modern dance Cristina Masson; the Colombian sketch artist Adriana Mosquera and the Ecuadorian gymnast Ana Izurieta among many others.
For the ceremony, the Mexican singer Roxana Río will be a part of the show. While the organizers would make an exposition in one of the subway stations of Madrid from November 17 until December 17, which will show portraits of the immigrants awarded.
The Association FusionArte was created on 2007 in Madrid, whose purpose was to motivate the new citizens in the Spanish society.
