From this day, teachers and directors of Zone 8 (Guayaquil, Durán, and Samborondón districts) will provide students with material to prevent sexual abuse. This is the reason why, in the framework of the campaign #AhoraQueLoVes # DiNoMás (#NowThatYouSeeIt #SayNoMore), Unicef presented this material last Friday, in a workshop organized by the Ministry of Education in Guayaquil.
This consists of a video that explains to the children what their intimate parts are and gives them three key messages to protect themselves:
– Do not let anyone touch your intimate parts and do not touch the intimate parts of anyone
– If they touch you and ask you to keep the secret, do not do it, even if the person who threatens you is a relative.
– If they touch your intimate parts, do not keep quiet and tell what happened to someone you trust. (I)
