The Most Expensive Christmas Tree Is In Abu Dhabi

The luxurious Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi set up a Christmas tree decorated with gold and precious stones.
The hotel admitted that decorating the fir tree—13 meters high— with rubies, gold, diamonds and other precious stones, was more than just Christmas spirit.
The tree, valued at $ 11 million, was presented at a lavish ceremony. The hotel has received many critics for bad taste and opulence.
The hotel said in a statement that its jeweler was entirely responsible for such expensive decorations and that the hotel was just the place were the tree is displayed.
