As part of this new edition of the Business Round, organized by Pro Ecuador, the question is whether the previous one met its goal because this answers if the goals of this year will be fulfilled.
According to the authorities of Pro Ecuador, in 2016 the business expectations for 290 million dollars were met, and small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) managed to export for the first time.
At the opening of the sixth edition of the Roundtable, eleven mipymes were awarded recognition for the internationalization of their products to different markets in 2016. Within that group is Patricia Nenquihui, president of the Waorani Women’s Association of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Nenquihui, along with 260 other women cultivate cocoa of fine aroma and elaborate black chocolate bars, much appreciated abroad (I).
