The new amendments and the Inheritance Law, in the official agenda

This will be a week of definitions within Alianza Pais (AP) and of meetings that will be held at both executive and legislature level, the route taken by the ruling party for 2016 will depend on this.

This afternoon (January 6, 2016), at the headquarters of the ruling party in the Shyris avenue, there will be the meeting of the National Directorate between the movement´s main authorities and leaders of the provinces. They will conduct an analysis of the situation, they will define the political agenda of the year and the strategies to achieve those objectives.

In the morning, however, the Council on Legislative Administration (CAL) will meet to approve bills that were submitted in late 2015 and to define the priorities of the Assembly for this period. This document will have two more stages of internal debate of the AP bloc: the first with bloc coordinators and committee chairs; finally, with the whole legislative bloc.

The ruling party processes at least two points with intensity. The first deals with the relevance of proposing a new package of amendments to the Constitution. The second point refers to the resubmission of the package of bills on inheritance and capital gains.
