The New Facebook Profile: a Visual Experience
Your Facebook profile has slightly changed its design. It now shows a quick overview of basic information such as where you are from, what school did you attend, where you work, which are common conversation starters when you meet new people or what you usually share with old friends.
The new Facebook profile emphasizes on pictures, which is why it shows a row of recently tagged photos of you.
Now you have the option to highlight friends, family, teammates or classmate, anyone who is important for you.
“All your interests and experiences are now represented with images, making your entire profile a more compelling visual experience,” wrote Josh Wiseman on Facebook’s official blog.
Another new feature of the new profile is the infinite scroll, it allows to browse all your photos faster than ever.
The new profile will be rolled out gradually; everyone will get it by early next year. You also have the option to upgrade it immediately if you can’t wait to see the changes.
