The opposition wants to face the president of the Electoral Council
Ten political organizations came today to the Commission on Citizen Participation of the Assembly to interrogate the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Juan Pablo Pozo.
The head of that entity was called to explain the 33 reforms posed to the Code of Democracy. These are technical and administrative, according to the chairman of the board and member of the United Front, allied to the Government, Fabian Solano.
Today political groups, through the assembly members of CREO, Pachakutik, the Christian-Social Party Madera de Guerrero and Patriotic Society, will question why these reforms of the CNE are a “makeup instead of being substantial to ensure democratic and fair elections in 2017,” told to Daily Expreso the head of the CREO block Patricio Donoso.
