The spread of diseases after the earthquake will be the axis of an international medical conference

From 5 to 8 July, the hotel Hilton Colon Guayaquil will host the XIII International Congress of Medicine and Specialties Kennedy (Cimek). An event than, as every year, and according to the Organizing Committee, it aims at updating medical professionals of all fields.

The theme planned for this year, as announced yesterday by Kleber Arriaga, president of the Congress, through a press conference, will focus on the progress in terms of medicine, surgery and specialties.

Experts from Uruguay, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, the United States and Ecuador will participate in the event. They, more than 60 people, will be the exhibitors. And they will talk, among other things, about infertility and the real benefits of the endometriosis surgery; maternal mortality and contraception for special groups (adolescents, obese and premenopausal women), and the existence of multi-resistant germs.
