The winter puts food security at risk

The production of corn, rice, and cocoa, is endangered by the rains. Farmers lose their crops or are unable to sow.

There´s a bleak picture in the countryside. This is serious for the economy and for the government of Lenin Moreno, which is just beginning, because it is very likely that the poultry and pig industry will need like last year, to use their dollars to import part of the raw material (I).
