There are eleven claims of vote counting in Guayas

Posted On 02 Mar 2017
The National Electoral Council (CNE) indicated yesterday that it performs the notification of the numerical results so that the political organizations can file challenges and the corresponding appeals.

In Guayas, according to the President of the Electoral Board of the province, Fabiola Arévalo, there are eleven complaints from various parties. “These were made by the different movements, and the resolutions will be published, and if the organizations do not agree and want to challenge, they must do it directly to the matrix of the National Electoral Council in the city of Quito,” she said.

She also said that the majority of claims are for numerical inconsistencies and come mainly from the Alianza PAIS, the Social Christian Party and Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante parties.
