They prepare demand against Correa for blocking them on Twitter

Juan Esteban Guarderas and Gabriela Obando are both representatives of an Ecuadorian group that prepare a demand against President Rafael Correa for blocking them on his Twitter official account. According to them, their right to access information has been violated and they will demand the President to accept them again on his social media, so that they can obtain officla information.

Guarderas mentions that “Rafael Correa is not a common citizen” when interviewed in “Radio Centro”, “he is a public offical who has a charge thanks to popular elections. He`s not only President for the people who praises him, he is also President for the people who are against him”, he added.

On the other hand, Guarderas remarked that they have developed a video in social media where they explain the situation. They show a Tweet from the President where he expresses, publicly, that the information is a public right without exclusion. Guarderas and Obando call the people whose rights have been violated as well, asking them to join his demand.
