After the confinement that ends this Thursday, May 20, 2021, the provinces of Guayas, Santa Elena and Esmeraldas will allow their visitors access to the beaches of their region.

Respecting compliance with health measures against the coronavirus and the schedules established by the authorities, these three provinces open the way so that people who wish to go to their spas can do so once the state of exception is completed this May 20 from 23: 59.
During this week, the last of the restrictions in the 16 provinces of the country, the Emergency Operations Committee (COE) ruled that the decrease in infections is positive, while waiting for patients who must be in the intensive care area, in addition to acts of indiscipline or non-compliance with health regulations.
Juan Zapata, National Director of the COE affirmed that a new state of exception will not open and that the authorities of each canton will be in charge of dictating measures to protect the health and good condition of people.
In General Villamil Playas they reported that they will be able to enter their spas with schedules established by the local COE, one of the measures will be the restriction of alcohol consumption.
In La Libertad, canton of the province of Santa Elena, there will be no vehicle restrictions and the beaches will be open from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In Salinas, the cantonal COE announced that its spas will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will apply the respective biosecurity measures for their visitors.
While in Esmeraldas, its mayor, Lucía Sosa said that the time to enter the beaches will be from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from this Thursday, May 21.
