Today two districts of Costa cycle begin classes, despite unconcluded classrooms
Despite the unconcluded mobile classrooms, classes begin today in Districts 7 (Los Vergeles) and 8 (Monte Sinaí), located in the north and northwest of Guayaquil.
In both areas, classes should have started on 5 May within the Coast cycle, but were suspended for students from first to seventh grade.
The Ministry of Education ordered the installation of five interim educational establishments, of prefabricated structure, for each district. Augusto Espinoza, Minister of Education said that due to the increase of students in the public system , the government entity took this initiative.
Despite Espinoza stated on May 6 these structures would be ready today for the kids to go back to school, that will not be completely fulfilled, since preschool student, who had to start their school year, it will not be possible.
In this two educational complexes only exist the bases and the molten classroom floor. These classrooms will be ready until next week .
Given this, Isabel Ruiz , a mother , said: ” The trouble with this is that classes are still being delayed, hopefully they finish the contruction works as soon as possible.”
