I want to take this space to publicly thank the President (Rafael Correa) for giving me the opportunity to serve the country and my people, I have done it with pride, gladly and with dedication.”
He added that he retires with “a clear conscience but you can always do more and better. Finally, I will be able to dedicate the time that my wife and children deserve and return to my true passion: the academy, teaching.”
