U.S. and Europe advance trade agreements

The European Union (EU) and the United States, ended yesterday the fourth round of their negotiations for a trade and investment agreement, which give particular attention to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and how that future agreement can benefit them.

The Chief negotiator for the EU, Ignacio García Bercero, and the US., Dan Mullaney, unveiled a document jointly prepared in which it is explained to small companies the steps to take benefits of the TTIP (transatlantic trade and investment agreement).
Throughout the week, the negotiating teams made “progress” in the chapters of the three pillars on which the agreement is based: access to markets, regulation and standards.
