Organized by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Argentina, the Regional Meeting for the Exchange of Good Practices in Access to Justice brings together delegates from Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Alternative methods of conflict resolution such as ensuring access to justice for the vulnerable population, gender violence and the state’s role as guarantor of access to legal information are some of the panels that were carried out during the first day.
The meeting will continue tomorrow with presentations about regional experiences of organizations that facilitate access to justice, civic integration policies and the rights of migrant persons, the disabled and aboriginals.
