Uncertainty among lawyers and families by the key witness

The announcement of the Attorney General´s office (FGE) that one of the four people declared missing after the shooting occurred in November 2003 at a pharmacy in northern Guayaquil, is already in the country generated expectation in the defense of the former police officers that might be involved in the Gonzalez case and others.
Luigi Garcia, lawyer of former agents Eduardo G., Darwin S. and Luis C. described as “regrettable” that the attorney´s office has identified the alleged witness in May last year and has recently made it public.
Garcia defendants are part of the 19 people called to the arraignment hearing for June 27, at 09:00, for the crime of enforced disappearance, allegedly occurred after the shooting at the pharmacy.
