US: Obama could govern with an entirely opposition Congress, according to polls
Polls for the legislative elections in the United States, that take place this November 4, agree on indicating that the opposition Republican Party will pluck the control of the Senate from the hands of the Democratic Party, and thus it will have control of the 2 houses of Congress.
This would leave President Barack Obama at the possibility of governing the last 2 years with an entirely opposition Congress, drastically limiting his ability to maneuver.
In the elections of this day the 435 seats in the House of Representatives will be renewed (MPs), where Republicans already have a majority. But the battle is focused on the renovation of 36 of the 100 seats in the Senate, where Republicans require getting 6 seats for amajority.
A sample of CNN cable television noted that 53% of Americans disapprove the way Obama is leading the country.
