The Agro Quality Control Agency (Agrocalidad) reported that foot-and-mouth disease has not crossed the Ecuadorian border, nevertheless, precautions will be taken: cattle will be vaccinated in several provinces.
Faced with the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in Colombia, the temporary ban on livestock products imports remains. “As part of the action plan, strategic vaccination will begin from July 17 to August 30, to immunize the animals in the provinces of Carchi, Esmeraldas, Sucumbíos, and Imbabura,” stated Agrocalidad.
