Veterinarians review advances in a congress

More than 1,000 professionals related to veterinary medicine will participate this week in a congress in Guayaquil. Foreign lecturers will be part of the national chapter of the León Veterinary Congress (CDVL), held in Mexico.
Jorge Zanabria, director of the Guayaquil chapter and the Dr. Pet Clinic, said that topics such as cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, specialties in felines and exotic animals will be addressed.
Public health issues such as the sterilization of pets and the management of social programs to avoid overpopulation of pets will be addressed as well.
The event will be held on June 28, 29 and 30 at the Hilton Colon Hotel. (I)
