Youth employment will provide incentives to companies

The Government is looking for ways to reduce unemployment among young people.

According to Labor Minister Raúl Ledesma, of the economically active population, of 8’084,382 people (as of March 2017), 23.3% are young people who are underemployed and 9.3% unemployed.

The official said the government now works on several alternatives for youth to access a regular job. One of them is to develop a new Labor Code aimed at promoting employment. (I)
