10 foreign ministers have confirmed their attendance at the meeting of UNASUR

The preparatory meeting of foreign ministers to take a decision on the sanctioning measures the United States has taken against Maduro´s government has so far the confirmation of 10 foreign ministers.

The Secretary General of UNASUR, Ernesto Samper, minutes before starting his keynote address “Unasur: Challenges and Prospects” in the Institute of Advanced National Studies (IAEN) explained that the meeting scheduled for Saturday at 14:00 has a positive welcome.

As for the agenda, the commission created to address the issue of Venezuela and integrated by Ecuador, Colombia and Brazil will submit a report and then, a session of discussion and implications it has on the region will be installed: “The unilateral decision taken by the US government to declare Venezuela as a national security issue is unacceptable.”
