Facundo Cabral’s Remains Were Repatriated

The remains of Argentine singer Facundo Cabral, who was shot at dawn on Saturday by a group of gunmen who attacked the vehicle he was traveling on through the capital of Guatemala, arrived today at the military airport Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires on an AirForce plane from Mexico.

Cabral’s body will be taken to the small theater ND Ateneo of Buenos Aires for its wake and then it will be taken to the Chacarita cemetery to be cremated as he wished, his widow, Silvia Pousa informed.
