Minister of Education says that only those who buy imported school supplies will spend more

According to Augusto Espinoza, Minister of Education, the national industry is capable to meet the demand of school supplies
The Minister of Education, Augusto Espinoza, at a press conference said that the domestic industry is capable of solving the demand of school supplies that have been taxed by government safeguards.
Espinoza said that the requested list of school supplies by the Ministry to educational institutions is 100% national. “Products like crayons, paints, ink and pencil erasers, glue, clay, among others, are produced in country,” said the minister.
He also reported that the regulation will continue with the cost of the list of in private schools for not exceeding the unified basic salary, and asked the parents to report to the Ministry of Education if that is the case.
