Ecuador inflation was of 0.59% last month

Ecuador presented a monthly inflation of 0.59% in January this year, which represents a 0.13% less than the same month of 2014 according to data published yesterday by the Consumer Price Index (ICP for its Spanish acronym) and the Ecuadorian Institute Statistics and Census (INEC).
According to the information, Manta would be the city with the highest monthly inflation, with 1.14%, followed by Loja with 1.12%. Santo Domingo and Machala would be the ones that presented the lowest inflation with 0.22% and 0.38% respectively.
This year the living cost was of USD 653.21 and the monthly income is $ 660.8, representing a surplus of USD 7.59
