The base salary set for 2016 ($ 366) will change fines, pensions and accounts

$ 366 is the basic salary set for 2016 -$ 12 more than this year- which changes, for example, all the fines of the Integral Organic Penal Code. The prison sentences of up to one month will have a penalty of 25% of the base salary. That is, $ 91.5 in 2016. This year, the penalty is $ 88.5.
If the infringement established in the Code includes imprisonment of up to two months, the new fine will be $ 732. This year, the fine is $ 708.
The same applies for companies. Legal persons that do not affiliate employees in the Social Security will pay up to five basic wages: $ 1,830. During 2015, the value was $ 1,770. In 2014, however, it was $ 1,700.
Regarding health care, there are other cases. “The person who, obliged to provide a health service and capable to do so, refuses to treat patients under state of emergency,” will have to pay a penalty from 30 to 50 wages. In dollars, between $ 10,980 and $ 18,300, according to the criminal law.
The fine for driving under the influence of alcohol is also in the list that will suffer increases. Until December 31 this year, the offender shall pay between $ 354 and $ 1,062. For next year, the value will go from $ 366 to $ 1,098.
